Biography
Univ.-Prof. Dr.-Ing. habil. Dipl.-Wirt.-Ing. Anica Meins-Becker researches and teaches as a professor at the University of Wuppertal. In 2024, Anica Meins-Becker became Chair of the LuF Digital Design, Construction and Operation, which is part of the Construction Management Centre. From 2021 to 2024, she headed the BIM Institute as an associate professor, which was transferred to the new chair. Her research focuses include process-oriented planning, recording, monitoring, controlling and documenting information along the value chain of the construction and property industry as well as the application and further development of the Building Information Modelling method. Anica Meins-Becker is also heavily involved in standardisation with the aim of increasing the digital transformation of the construction and real estate industry.
