In perfect weather, students from the “Construction Process Management” seminar at Luf DPBB had the opportunity to tour the Art-Invest Real Estate construction site in Cologne.

Tanja Hauser and Alexander Schneider provided fascinating insights into their daily work in project development and project management and shared first-hand accounts of the unique challenges of building within existing structures. The students had the chance to discuss procurement strategies with them and learn about the use of Building Information Modeling (BIM) as well as a process-oriented approach within the framework of Lean Construction.

A special highlight: the expansion of the existing building using prefabricated timber elements, as well as the view of Cologne Cathedral from the rooftop terrace in perfect weather. A big thank you to the entire project team for the excellent organization and the fascinating insights!
